Time to reflect

I have started something new in life Again! But what interests me every day is always fascinating. Unknowingly I am on my path to identifying my passion. Also, I finished reading the book ' Ikigai, the Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life'. As a matter of fact reading books is one of the entries in my list of 'Finding my passion'.

Now I have started writing, as you all know already by now. If not go read my other blogs and do let me know what you think about it.

Thinking about the time I have spent in this newfound joy, I have a few things that I have realized. It might be a very simple thought but it is mindblowing. At least for me.

Reading and writing go hand in hand. We need to constantly keep updating with new information and at least in the beginning stage of writing, it would be required to write them down immediately before we forget about them.

To write a small note of information, I would have read at least 4 to 5 articles. It would require me to consolidate and write it in a simple language for readers to understand it better.

True to its words, if you don't start somewhere you won't be reaching anywhere. How much depth there is to this statement. I realized it after I actually started following it. This is the whole blog title for another day.

It happened so many times that I started reading something and on the lost way I forgot I had to continue writing itself. I had to come back to the topic of interest with such difficulty that sometimes I would end up procrastinating. I felt I would rather read and talk about it instead of finding words to put it on paper. Is it really easier to be able to talk your mind out instead of writing them down? It is debatable. But with the right audience, it is always easier to talk, is my take on the subject.

But writing is a huge motivation for life itself. People who are lost dealing with midlife crisis, please start reading and writing. I am experiencing it firsthand and it has made a huge impact on how I visualize my world.

I have made a few drastic changes in my life and my brain is in a very chaotic situation right now. What is helping me get through are my loved ones and especially some of the readers. They actually took time and gave me feedback. Some have actually gone out of their way to write a review for one of my blogs. I will be talking about that in my upcoming blogs. Thanks a lot!
